A Dreamer’s Dream

A poem by: Maria Elena Bitare

In the silence of the night
Her dreams scream so loud
To sing infront of a crowd
And touch their cold hearts

They laughed at what she wrote
Told her it has long been told
But her dream won’t give up
She said with a smile:
It won’t die tonight
